The Philosophy

In Bali, the colors of White and Yellow are very often found in every ceremony-related event. These two colors symbolize the life we live in. White is the sky and Yellow is the earth. White is also the Man and Yellow is the Woman. White shows Lord Shiva and Yellow shows Budha. Uniting these two colors creates this wonderful life where we live in.

With this name ‘White Yellow’ we do expect to be able to give life from the food that we serve, therefore, we serve NonMSG meals, sweeteners or coloring substances of any kind in our food. We keep all ingredients naturally fresh, using Balinese traditional seasonings and spices that bring benefits to your healthy life.

This was delightful! My friend and I went for dinner here and opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet. The buffet was vegetarian but had an excellent range of food and was great for trying out different Indonesian food. I particularly enjoyed the tempeh coconut curry. There was even mineral water included in the buffet! Thank you White Yellow for the excellent meal

My last lunch in Ubud, I wanted something special so was disappointed when the Warung I selected was a shelf and 3 stools. Walked on and stumbled upon White Yellow, wouldn’t usually select an empty restaurant without researching, but Oh Wow what a lunch I had (Martabak to start then Pindang Nyat Nyat), all fantastic, and service to match.

Probably the tastiest, most authentic Balinese food in Ubud. All natural ingredients, freshly hand made every day, and superb value. Vegetarian food never tasted so good!.

The vegetarian food at this buffet was outstanding! Typical Balinese food with all ingredients listed for each dish. Only 50 000, which is unbelievable!! We ate here 3 times

We came across the White Yellow when we first entered Ubud. The a la carte menu was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and the setting is attractive. We were intrigued by the vegetarian buffet so came back 2 days later to try it out. The options were genuinely local and delicious. We’d recommend either option – but definitely make an effort to visit.
